Is OpenRPG free?
Every rule is free to read, forever. A free account lets you build a character and run a campaign.
What do paid plans add?
Paid plans add storage and tools: Player Plus lets you keep up to 3 characters, and GM Plus lets you run up to 3 campaigns. See pricing.
Can I buy a paid plan now?
Not yet. Paid plans are not on sale, and nobody is billed today.
How do I cancel, and are there refunds?
You can cancel any time, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. There are no refunds except where the law requires one. See the cancellation and refund policies.
Do I need to play online?
No. OpenRPG is built for in-person play. The site helps you build characters and manage campaigns, and characters print to paper sheets for the table.
What dice do I need?
OpenRPG uses percentile dice (d100).
Who makes OpenRPG?
Greg Pascucci and Michael Mussellam. Michael is the artistic director, and all the artwork is his. OpenRPG is run by Pascucci Labs.
Is AI used to make OpenRPG?
The rules, lore and fiction are written by Greg and Michael; AI tools were used only to help edit and check them. All artwork is by Michael Mussellam, with no AI imagery. The website software is built with AI assistance.
