Provinces — Lore

Provincial Frame

A province in Openheim is less a clean shape and more a living argument. Rivers shift, roads fail, and noble claims outlast maps by decades.

Capitals project legitimacy, but smaller cities reveal the truth: grain routes, militia fatigue, and whether a duchy can hold winter without outside support.
